Employer cost calculator

A salary is never the full cost.

Pick a country and a gross salary to see the statutory employer contributions stacked on top, and what the person actually costs you for the year. Every rate below is sourced and dated. Nothing is estimated.

Enter the gross annual salary in whatever currency you budget in. The contribution rates are percentages of gross, so the totals come back in that same currency.

Statutory employer contributions only. Contribution ceilings, regional variations, 13th-month pay, severance reserves and benefits are not modelled, so treat this as an indication rather than a quote.

What this covers, and what it does not

It covers the statutory employer contributions owed on gross pay: pension and social insurance, health cover, unemployment insurance, work injury and similar mandatory levies, at the rates published by the source shown for each country.

It does not model contribution ceilings and floors, regional or sector variations, headcount-dependent rates, 13th-month pay, vacation accruals, severance reserves, or benefits. Several countries cap contributions at a salary threshold, so above that threshold the real percentage falls. Our Employer of Record fee is separate, and sits on top.

For a number you can budget against, with ceilings applied, bonuses accrued and our fee included, ask us for a quote. Every quote comes back fully loaded with each statutory cost broken out.
